Art Hanging and Mounting - I have worked with many clients that have fine art or heirlooms that require very specific displays or mounting.

Veneer pressing and Marquetry – Some of the most stunning pieces of furniture in history are born from the intricate work of cutting thin slices of decorative veneer. Marquetry is an art form not practised by many in these modern times but is a technique I am happy to offer.

Marine Cabinetry – I was introduced to the Marine industry in the late 1980’s through Yacht Racing and my involvement runs from racing 14ft skiffs, and the maintenance that comes with performance race craft, to interior installations of 200ft Super Yachts.

Materials

The world is getting globally easier to access, as are materials. Sustainable logging has given rise to more use of veneers and different, varying timbers. I have in stock, Maple Burr, Wenge and Sycamore veneers but there is not much out there that can’t be sourced.

Applying edgy materials like Stainless Steel, Paua Shell, etc. can add flair to the finished product.

Plywood and Panel products are other materials I have used.
